About The BRSH
Our Mission
BRSH consolidates validated scientific, operational, and policy resources so responders, researchers, and policymakers can act with confidence.
Built under EMBRACE, the Hub aligns with open science and standardisation to ensure reuse, comparability, and long-term impact across Europe
Trusted Knowledge
Curated guidance, protocols, and references.
Interoperable Tools
Access to software and hardware tools related to biotoxin preparedness, detection and response.
Community & Standards
Biotoxin Task Force and CMINE community.
Our Vision
The BRSH envisions a unified European community where scientific, operational, and policy knowledge on biotoxins is shared seamlessly.
Our goal is to bridge research, response, and governance, transforming fragmented expertise into a single trusted network.
Through collaboration, open access, and continuous innovation, BRSH helps strengthen resilience, accelerate decision-making, and support a safer Europe for all.

About the EMBRACE Project
EMBRACE (Pan-European Management of Biological Toxin Incidents through Standardisation Initiatives for Crisis Response Enhancement) is a Horizon Europe-funded research and innovation project focused on strengthening Europe’s preparedness and response to biological toxin incidents.
The project brings together scientific, technical, and operational partners from across Europe to advance detection methods, risk assessment approaches, and coordinated response strategies. Through research, standardisation efforts, and cross-sector collaboration, EMBRACE contributes to a more harmonised and resilient European crisis management framework.
The Biotoxin Reference and Stakeholder Hub (BRSH) has been developed within EMBRACE to provide a knowledge exchange environment and facilitate access to project outcomes.
